Tuesday, April 17th, 4 p.m. – Gait Lab Demonstration (77 President St. Charleston, SC 29425). Come see how this research laboratory uses state-of-the-art equipment to study the physiologic and biomechanical aspects of gait. First year students should note that this demonstration will reinforce the material that they are learning for their upcoming examination.

Come to Fuel to help celebrate a successful match and ask questions of the fourth year students who have recently interviewed and matched in Neurology, Child Neurology, and Neurodevelopmental Disabilities. Friday, February 24, 12 - 1 p.m. - Research Blitz. Come hear about some of the basic, translational, and clinical research that is taking place on campus. Representatives from a number of labs and study groups will give brief presentations about their current work, and information about research opportunities for students will be provided.

Monday, October 10th, 5 p.m. – Nerve Conduction Study / Electromyography Demonstration by Dr. David Stickler, Neuromuscular Disease specialist. Come see how nerve conduction studies and EMGs are performed. Second year students take note, this demonstration will take place during your Neuromuscular block and will complement what you are learning in class!
Saturday, October 15th, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. – Dodgeball Tournament
- Co-sponsored with Occupational Therapy Class of 2012
- Proceeds go to Pattison’s Academy (PACE), which serves children with severe and multiple disabilities and exposes them to a community inclusive rehabilitative program that is completely integrated with an educational environment.Cost will be $15/player (6 players/team), to include t-shirt, food, and drinks
- Double-elimination tournament (each team guaranteed to play at least 2 games)
- Prizes will be offered to the tournament, costume contest, and raffle winners
