Translational Research Unit (TRU)
The MUSC Brain & Spine Tumor Program at the Medical University of South Carolina Hollings Cancer Center is committed to state of the art care for patients with tumors of the nervous system. The efforts of a highly dedicated professional team are focused on providing the most effective therapies available while also striving to develop new therapies within a highly active laboratory and clinical research program. These efforts are backed by facilities with the latest technology in neurosurgery, neuropathology, neuroimaging, radiation oncology and bench research.
The MUSC Hollings Cancer Center Brain & Spine Tumor Program strives to serve the brain tumor population in South Carolina and neighboring states. The participation in neuro-oncology multi-center and group trials brings the latest in neuro-oncology care to the region.
