Project Description:
Effects of Acamprosate on Cue-induced reinstatement of methamphetamine and Cocaine-seeking Behavior.
My research focuses on understanding the neurobiological basis of drug addiction and alcoholism using molecular, cellular, pharmacological, and behavioral approaches. I am particularly interested in examining the role of glutamate in addictive disorders and characterizing glutamate-based pharmacological agents that might be used as treatments for drug and alcohol addiction.
