"MUSC Nurses Change Lives"
MLK Day of Service 2012
Everybody can be great, because anybody can serve. You don't have to have a college degree to serve. You don't have to make your subject and verb agree to serve. You only need a heart full of grace. A soul generated by love. - Martin Luther King Jr.
On Monday, January 16, 2012, twenty students from the College of Nursing at MUSC volunteered at the Children’s Museum of the Lowcountry during MLK Day of Service. At the museum, students had the opportunity to help with various projects ranging from organizing the art room (recycled donations) to creating templates for future art projects. Students from the College of Nursing volunteer monthly at projects in the Charleston area.
