Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Program - Online

Students may enter the program with either a BSN or MSN.  Fall admittance only.  Specialty areas for Post-BSN DNP students include adult-gerontology, family, pediatric practice and psychiatric mental health tracks.  Post-BSN DNP graduates from these tracks will be eligible for certification as a nurse practitioner.  Post-MSN DNP graduates do not qualify for certification in an APRN specialty area because the DNP degree is an academic degree that is distinct and separate from the certification process.  A practice improvement project will be completed during the last year of the program under the direction of faculty.

Full and part-time plans of study are available. An individual program plan of study is completed at the time of admission into the program.
