In October, the College of Nursing was awarded a $700,000 HRSA grant for the Advanced Nursing Education Traineeship (ANET) program. The purpose of this grant is to increase the number of primary care nurse practitioners. This grant will provide funds for 28 nurse practitioner students over a two-year period.
