Annemarie Donato is an Instructor in the College of Nursing. 25 years ago she started her nursing career in the Netherlands. After moving to the United States with her family she received her Bachelor degree from New York University. Annemarie received her Masters degree from Columbia University. She is an ANCC certified Family Nurse Practitioner since 1993. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International and American Nurses Association.  She is active locally and is currently the President of the Lowcountry Advanced Practice Group. Annemarie has been teaching at the Medical University since 1998 in both the Undergraduate and Graduate program. Her faculty practice is at Student Health Services for the College of Charleston. Her interests are in mental health and women’s health.
