Margaret Spain received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Clemson University, a Master of Science in Nursing from the Catholic University of America, and a Post-Master's Certificate in Advanced Practice Nursing from the Medical University of South Carolina. She is a Family Nurse Practitioner, certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She teaches at both the graduate and undergraduate levels and practices as a Nurse Practitioner at the Employee Health Services Clinic at the Medical University of South Carolina. Mrs. Spain's special interest is in the prevention and treatment of Diabetes and Hypertension. Mrs. Spain has taught health assessment at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and Health Promotion and Episodic/ Chronic Conditions in the Family Nurse Practitioner Track.
