Carrie Cormack is an Instructor in the Pediatric Nurse Practitioner program at The Medical University of South Carolina. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Saint Anselm College in Manchester, New Hampshire and Master of Science in Nursing degree at The Medical University of South Carolina. Ms. Cormack is certified by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board. She is also a member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners. With over 13 years experience in Pediatric Nursing, Carrie has worked in acute care, Developmental Pediatrics, and Pediatric Orthopaedics. She is the Director of Nursing at Pattison’s Academy, which serves children with multiple disabilities. Her research interests include evaluating health and quality of life outcomes with the integration of rehabilitation and education for children with special needs. She is also interested in promoting community awareness for children with severe disabilities. |
