duffynd@musc.edu | Nancy Duffy is an Associate Professor, Director of the Undergraduate Programs at MUSC and the Associate Director of Simulation for the College of Nursing. She received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Bradley University, a Master’s Degree in Adult Health with a clinical focus in Emergency Nursing from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and a Doctorate in Nursing Practice from Rush University.
| Nancy has been an educator for twenty years and has been the recipient of numerous awards for excellence in teaching. She most recently was recognized as the 2007 Governor’s Professor of the Year in SC. Her areas of interest include inter-professional education, the use of simulation as an educational strategy and involvement in campus activities. She is involved in collaborative efforts to develop and share simulation modules in nursing programs across the state of SC.
| | Nancy is a member of the Emergency Nurses Association, American Nurses Association, SC League of Nursing, Gamma Iota Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society for Nursing and the Society for Simulation in Healthcare. She was previously recognized as one of North Carolina’s Great 100 nurses and the South Carolina Palmetto Gold Award. |
