Alumni Association Scholarships Each spring, the College of Nursing Alumni Association presents four scholarships to students at the Annual Homecoming Weekend. A fifth, the Gail W. Stuart Scholarship, may be awarded based on funds available. Below are the 2009 recipeints: Ruth Chamberlin Scholarship awarded to Lee Horton, Doctoral Student Irene Dixon Scholarship awarded to Devon Licari, Class of December 2009 Elizabeth Ann Jones Scholarship awarded to Erica Gunnels, MSN Student Elizabeth Mills Scholarship awarded to Molly Lussier, Class of May 2009 Gail Stuart Scholarship awarded to Bonnie Shepherd, Class of May 2010 To be eligible, students must be enrolled in one of the College of Nursing’s academic programs; be outstanding in their academic work; demonstrate an interest in student and alumni activities; and have financial need. | 
About the College
Effective November 1, Teresa Kelechi will assume the role of Department Chair. Employed at MUSC for 22 years, Teresa joined the College of Nursing faculty in 2001. She is a board certified gerontological clinical nurse specialist and a certified wound care nurse. Teresa takes over the reins of Department Chair from Elizabeth Erkel who will retire at the end of the year.
