Office of Faculty Practice | Nursing Programs

The Office of Faculty Practice serves faculty and students at the College of Nursing by promoting the integration of practice with student education and research. The Hispanic Health Initiative resides within the Office of Practice.

Staff assist faculty with the credentials process, compliance training, identification and development of new practice opportunities, and provide support for the Faculty Practice Committee. Faculty and staff assist students in the identification of unique opportunities for clinical and mentored experiences in community or practice based research.

Hispanic Health Initiatives

The Hispanic Health Initiatives has funding from the Duke Endowment and Health and Human Resources Administration to create a racially and ethnically diverse nursing workforce, to promote cultural effectiveness among nurses, to promote health services research, and to provide direct services to Hispanic Families.
