John Dell

John Dell served as a consultant to MUSC from  2000 – 2003. He began employment at MUSC in 2004 as Director of OCIO Finance and Administrative Systems. Before coming to MUSC, John had multiple positions with heathcare organizations, include 13 years as a CIO. In addition, John has served as a consultant  for ten years with two national consulting organizations.  John has a total of thirty (30) years in healthcare information technology.

Overview

Finance & Administrative systems provides IT business planning, selection assistance, contract services, as well as development, implementation, upgrades, integration, and datamart services for the University & Hospital entitiies. Many of our operational areas select application vendors that provide ‘best of breed’ services. Our  operational areas covered by these services include; General
