Interprofessional Programs

The Office of Interprofessional Initiatives is a Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP) for the Medical University of South Carolina that focuses on interprofessional education. Organized within the Office of Interprofessional Initiatives, the programs are multi-dimensional.  Offerings have been developed to encourage interdisciplinary opportunities and interprofessional understanding for students, faculty, and staff.

IP Day 2017 SimuVersity Game Winners!

This year, first-year students at IP Day participated in an online simulation game designed to engage students from different professions in the process of development and management of a healthcare system. Announcing Student QEP Video Winners

The MUSC Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP) titled "Team Up For Better Health" has two overarching goals: improve the learning environment to foster students' acquisition of teamwork skills and to graduate students with practice-relevant teamwork skills and experience. An open call was sent out to MUSC students to create a video about the QEP last fall and entries were voted on by students in January. The first place winning team will receive a $1000 cash prize and second place team will receive $200 in Amazon gift cards.
The winners are: 
1st place: Allison Blackburn (CHP-OT), Shannon Blair (COM), Courtney King (CGS), Madison Smith Helen (CHP-OT)
2nd place: Alex Novgorodov (COP) and Andrea Anderson (CGS)
