That's why our work continually must be fortified through new ideas and innovations in medicine and technology - and why we've taken our commitment to children to the next level, with a world-class research institute.
The Darby Children's Research Institute enables MUSC Children's Hospital to provide its young patients with the best facilities, the best doctors and an unprecedented level of care. The Darby Children's Research Institute is the largest and most comprehensive pediatric research facility in the Carolinas. It is one of 15 buildings in the country dedicated to children's research.
Our mission is to improve the lives of children, their families and communities by conducting high quality children's research by training superior physicians and scientists, and by fostering innovation through the sciences of discovery and application.
Our vision is to be a leading regional, national and international resource in children's research.
