Welcome to the Graduate Training Program in the Department of Public Health Sciences at MUSC. Currently, the Department offers graduate training leading to MS and PhD degrees in Biostatistics and Epidemiology. Our graduate programs are committed to a high quality interdisciplinary training. Past PhD graduates from our Department have faculty jobs within major universities and senior positions in government and industry. The department has over 29 faculty members and a diverse cohort of students. Faculty research covers a wide spectrum of disciplines in public health and other biomedical sciences. All faculty members are committed to teaching and mentoring students. The faculty has a long history of collaborations with basic and clinical science researchers, which provides students many opportunities to be innovative in their fields of interest.
