BMTRY 789-05 : Introduction to Public Health
DESCRIPTION
The overall prupose of this elective course is to introduce students to the principles and core functions of public health in keeping with the 2002 recommendation of the Institute of Medicine. Materials presented in this course will enable students to understand the role of public health and its core functions to better understand patterns of diseases, gloal threats to health, and factors contributing to disparate health outcomes in population groups
