Health officials hope that Ebola never appears in South Carolina, but if it does, they say the Medical University of South Carolina is prepared. MUSC pediatric surgeon Dr. Andre Hebra performed the minimally invasive repair of the pectus excavatum on Chelsea Smith. After cycling 3,133 miles in 57 days, Steve Pulley dipped his tire into the surf at Sullivan's Island. It was the end of his cross-country journey that started in San Diego on a date marking his six years of sobriety.
