Project Management Office (PMO)

The Project Management Office (PMO) is part of the Office of the CIO (OCIO) and strives to improve the success of projects that require Information Technology resources.

The PMO was created in 2004 as a component of the IT Governance Structure put into place by MUSC's CIO, Dr. Frank Clark.

Since 2004 the PMO has evolved and now provides a variety of services to project managers across the enterprise, even for projects that are not closely tied to Information Technology.
