Description of Research Program Identification of components in the diet which modulate carcinogenesis and understanding their mechanism of action. Identifying the enzymes that are responsible for the activation of carcinogens in humans and functional genetic polymorphisms of these carcinogen-metabolizing enzymes in order to establish their roles in human susceptibility to environmental carcinogenesis.
