Olga Brawman-Mintzer, MD earned her BS and medical degrees at the Hebrew University, Hadassah Medical School in Jerusalem, Israel. She then went on to serve as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at UCLA. Dr. Brawman-Mintzer completes an internship and residency in Psychiatry at the University of Miami School of Medicine. She also completed a fellowship in anxiety disorders and psychopharmacology at the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the Medical University of South Carolina. Dr. Brawman-Mintzer served as Medical Director for CNS Research and Business Development for The Clinical Innovation Group/MUSC Foundation for Research Development. Dr. Brawman-Mintzer is a Professor of Psychiatry and currently serves as the Director of the Anxiety Disorders Program and is a staff physician in the Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center. A Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, Dr. Brawman-Mintzer published numerous peer-reviewed journal articles and textbook chapters and serves as Principal Investigator and collaborator on federally funded and industry sponsored projects examining biological correlates and innovative treatments in mood and anxiety disorders. |
