| Kevin M. Gray, M.D., Associate Professor in the Youth Division of the MUSC Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, is a board certified child, adolescent, and adult psychiatrist with research and clinical interest in adolescent substance use disorders and co-occurring psychiatric disorders. He was one of only five child and adolescent psychiatrists nationally to receive the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry/National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) Physician Scientist in Substance Abuse K12 Award, with training in 2005-2009. Since completing K12 training, he has pursued independent and collaborative NIDA-funded research focused on understanding and treating cannabis and nicotine dependence in adolescents and adults. He also maintains active clinical practice in Youth Division clinical programs. |
