Dr. Borckardt is a Clinical Psychologist with training and experience in pain psychology, advanced statistical modeling, physiology, neuropsychology, neurostimulation, and pain neuroimaging. He is primarily a clinical translational scientist with specific expertise in evaluating novel treatments for chronic pain. He has over 130 peer-reviewed scientific publications, and 22 active, pending or completed research grants through the NIH, private industry, non-profit organizations, intramural programs and professional societies
