Jeffrey S. Cluver, M.D.

Dr. Cluver was born and raised in Broomall, Pennsylvania and graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 1996 with a B.A. in psychology. He received his M.D. from Vanderbilt University in 2000 and completed his residency training in psychiatry at the Medical University of South Carolina. Dr. Cluver joined the faculty at MUSC in July of 2004 and he has held many important leadership roles in the department, including Vice Chair for Education & Training, Director of Medical Student Education, Acting Residency Training Director and the Assistant Chief of Mental Health at the Ralph H. Johnson VAMC. Dr. Cluver has led multiple educational research projects and he developed education and training modules for the Healthcare Simulation Center at MUSC. Dr. Cluver is the Associate Medical Director for the Mental Health Service Line, and Director, Psychiatry Hospitalists Division.
