Biographical Sketch

Anouk L. Grubaugh, PhD, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the Medical University of South Carolina and a Research Health Scientist at the Ralph H. Johnson VAMC. Her expertise and interests include the assessment and treatment of patients with both posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and severe mental illness (SMI), issues related to treatment adherence and attrition in public sector and VAMC settings, racial disparities in health outcomes, and mental health services methodology.  To date, she has authored over 60 peer-reviewed publications on these topics and has been a principal or co-investigator on a number of NIMH and VA sponsored grants, including her current VA Health Services Research and Development (HSR&D) sponsored career development award titled Enhancing PTSD Services for Diverse Veterans with PTSD and SMI.
