Dr. Libet received a Master's degree in Experimental Psychology and a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Georgia. She joined the MUSC Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences in 2000 and became the Director of Counseling and Psychological Services in 2009. In addition to providing mental health services for MUSC students, she has helped to develop the CAPS clinic into an educational site for interns, residents, and fellows, and provides clinical supervision for those individuals. Dr. Libet has served on the Executive Committee of the South Carolina Academy of Professional Psychologists and the South Carolina Psychological Association. She has also been the secretary/treasurer and the President of the South Carolina Academy of Professional Psychologists. |
