Dr. Pelic is an Assistant Professor in the division of Bio-Behavioral Medicine Psychiatry. She is the director of the Psychosomatic Medicine Service. This service is provides psychiatric consultation to patients hospitalized for medical and sugical illness at MUSC. She is highly involved in interdisciplinary efforts to improve patient care and staff collaboration. Dr Pelic additionally sees patients part time in a specialty clinic through the behavioral medicine department. She received her B.A. from the University Notre Dame and her M.D. from the Medical College of Ohio (now the University of Toledo). She completed both her internship and residency here at MUSC. Dr. Pelic was also a 2004-5 Chief Resident. Dr Pelic is board certified in Psychiatry and Psychosomatic Medicine by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. |
