santosab@musc.edu | | | | | | | Biographical Sketch | | | Alberto Santos, M.D. completed medical school and his psychiatry residency training at MUSC. After a fellowship at the NIMH Psychiatry Education Branch, he returned to Charleston to join the faculty. His long-term tenure at MUSC has provided program stability and facilitated initiatives, which have received several national awards. Dr. Santos is a fellow of the American College of Psychiatrists and the American Psychiatric Association. He has published over one hundred journal articles and three books.
