Biographical Sketch
Dr. Strachan is research faculty in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) where she serves as the administrator for the clinical sleep research laboratory. She received her Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Drexel University and completed her pre- and post-doctoral training in child trauma at the National Crime Victims Research and Treatment Center at MUSC. Prior to joining the clinical sleep research lab, Dr. Strachan served as the project director for several,  multi-site clinical trials evaluating  exposure therapy for PTSD in military populations.
