Laura Keys Campbell, Ph.D. 

Behavioral Medicine Rotation   

Dr. Campbell is a faculty member of MUSC’s Division of Bio-Behavioral Medicine. She graduated summa cum laude from Temple University with a B.A. in Psychology, and she received her M.S. and Ph.D. from Vanderbilt University. She completed an APA-accredited pre-doctoral internship through the Vanderbilt-VA Consortium, and a 2-year post-doctoral fellowship in Behavioral Medicine at University of Virginia Health System. Dr. Campbell, a licensed clinical psychologist, is one of the primary clinical service providers in MUSC’s Behavioral Medicine Clinic, where she also provides clinical supervision of interns and post-doctoral fellows. Her clinical interests are broadly defined within behavioral medicine and pediatric psychology. Specialty areas include: organ transplant psychology, behavioral diabetes, psycho-oncology, medical adherence and coping with chronic illness in adolescents, and eating disorders. Dr. Campbell also remains actively engaged in research and has published on the neurocognitive sequelae of childhood cancer, elimination disorders of childhood, and the psychosocial correlates of diabetes. She is the P.I. on an anonymous survey assessing the level of driving risk in adolescents with type 1 diabetes and a co-investigator on several other clinical research pilot studies.
