
Alok Madan, M.P.H., Ph.D [Behavioral Medicine Rotation]
Dr. Madan received his BA in Psychology from Rhodes College in Memphis, TN. He earned his MA and PhD in Clinical/Medical Psychology as well as MPH from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He completed his internship training at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine and post-doctoral training at the Medical University of South Carolina. Dr. Madan specializes in the assessment and treatment of the psychosocial correlates common among individuals with chronic medical conditions. He is the Clinical Director of the Behavioral Medicine Service and Manager of the Quality & Outcomes Department at the Institute of Psychiatry.
