Dr. Matthew Yoder is Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, Medical University of South Carolina.  He is also a staff psychologist at the Ralph H. Johnson Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Charleston, SC.  His research is focused on implementation and evaluation of mental health interventions following disasters, both within the U.S. and internationally.  He is currently studying the effectiveness of delivering PTSD treatment via telemedicine technology.  Dr. Yoder received his Ph.D. from Virginia Tech in the spring of 2008.
