Carol A. Denier, Ph.D.
[VAMC Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder Clinic rotation]

Dr. Denier received her B.A. from the State University of New York at Stony Brook and her M.A. and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the State University of New York at Binghamton.  She completed her clinical internship at the Jackson, Mississippi Medical Center-VAMC Consortium.  She was on staff at the Jackson VAMC for several years before moving to Oxford, Mississippi where she worked in community mental health, was on staff at the Tupelo Medical Center, and taught assessment at Ole Miss.  Since moving to Charleston in 1989, Dr. Denier has been a staff psychologist in Mental Health at the VAMC.  

Clinical Interests:  assessment, adult trauma, trauma treatment, substance abuse
