Horner, Ph.D. [VAMC Neuropsychology Clinic] Dr. Horner received his A.B. summa cum laude in Psychology and Social Relations from Harvard University, and his M.A. and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Emory University. He completed a neuropsychology specialty internship at the West Los Angeles VA Medical Center, and a postdoctoral fellowship in neuropsychology at UCLA. In 1994 he joined the MUSC faculty, where he is currently Associate Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. He serves as Director of the Neuropsychology Clinic, and Clinical Co-Director of the Memory Disorders Clinic, at the Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center. Research interests: Neuropsychological functioning in substance abuse and other disorders; validity in neuropsychological assessment.
