  • The March Live CCRT registration is now open! The CCRT will be held M-W-F for two weeks, March 20th - 31st, from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm. Registration will close March 13th.

    The purpose of the Core Clinical Research Training course is to prepare research team members to coordinate cost effective healthcare research while at the same time, promote the rights and safety of human subjects, achieve recruitment and retention outcomes and contribute to the science of health care in compliance with the Good Clinical Practice Guidelines and federal regulations. The training prepares participants to successfully manage many phases of health care research from study initiation to close out.

    Participants must register online. If you are a MUSC participant and your department is covering the cost, please select that you will be paying via IIT. Have your business manager set up a new vendor: CCRT Program - SCTR Institute & email IIT to train@musc.edu Please do not make a payment with an MUSC PCard. Payments can also be made by credit card or personal check. For Personal Checks please make your payment out to MUSC in the memo line please write CCRT.

  • The fifth annual Women's Health Research Day will be held April 6, 2017.  The Plenary Speaker will be Samantha Meltzer-Brody, MD, MPH Associate Professor Of Psychiatry, Associate Chair for Faculty Development, Director of Perinatal Psychiatry Program, UNC Center for Women’s Mood Disorders, University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. Dr. Meltzer-Brody will speak on Using novel approaches to investigate and treat postpartum depression: The power of team science and positively disruptive technology. There will also be a screening of the documentary ‘Dark Side of the Full Moon’ (http://www.darksideofthefullmoon.com/the-film-1/) followed by a panel discussion.
