Office of Research Development

Research Development

Office of Research Development (ORD) operates under the Associate Vice Provost for Research to support the needs of faculty. We work closely with other offices in Research Administration, such as Research and Sponsored Programs (pre-award) and Grants and Contracts Accounting (post-award), as well as the Foundation for Research Development (technology transfer).  ORD identifies extramural funding opportunities and assists faculty members in preparing competitive proposals, with an emphasis on strategic research areas prioritized by the colleges and university administration as well as institutional research resources and infrastructure.
