• Changing What's Possible in Cancer Care | Nothing puts fear in you the way cancer does. But no one works harder or attacks cancer from more angles than we do. It's how we became a NCI-designated cancer center. Fighting cancer the right way requires collaboration. It requires coordination by doctors across specialties. And it requires the newest therapies and drugs available anywhere. That's why giving up is the only option we won't try when fighting cancer.

Retreats and Workshops

GRANTSMANSHIP WORKSHOPS

Grantsmanship workshops, offered several times a year, are intended to orient new investigators with the NIH proposal preparation and review process, as well as with specific types of NIH applications. Dr. Israel Goldberg, workshop leader, spent 13 years in research administration at the NIH prior to becoming an independent consultant, the founder and president of Health Research Associates. In addition, faculty or collaborative teams are encouraged to register for one-on-one consultations with Dr. Goldberg to review a new R-type proposal, competing renewal, or resubmission.
