Purpose: To revise the current constitution to revise the specifics of Article VI. section I (b) to enable the SGA body to approve expenditures ofless than $1000 to be spent on non-SGA sanctioned events.

Whereas currently Article VI. Section 1, (b) of the constitution states, "Expenditures which are not included in the budget and which exceed 1000 dollars will be presented to the SGA for approval. Expenditures less than 1000 dollars may be approved by the Executive Committee."

Be it enacted by the Medical University of South Carolina Student Government Association assembled in regular session the following:

That Article VI. Section 1, (b) be revised to read, "Expenditures which are not included in the budget and which exceed 1000 dollars, or that involve SGA cosponsorships with other student organizations, will be presented to the SGA for approval. Expe~ditures less than 1000 dollars may be approved by the Executive Committee for use on SGA sanctioned events."
