Students requiring urgent care when Student Health Services is closed may be seen at any local Urgent Care facility. Students with the Pearce & Pearce Insurance policy requiring urgent care must pay a $350 deductible per calendar year after which the student will be responsible for 20% of allowable charges. Students seeking medical care in a hospital-based Emergency Room should be aware that there is a $100 co-pay plus the $350 annual deductible with a $500 limit for each Emergency Room visit. This does not apply if you are admitted to the hospital from the ER.
Note: The $500 limit for services does not apply for Urgent Care facilities.
