Sea Islands Family Project The Sea Islands Family Project (SIFP) is an umbrella to support and embrace genetic research conducted by Principle Investigators among residents on the Sea Islands of South Carolina. The infrastructure for the SIFP is supported at MUSC and housed within the Division of Endocrinology and the Department of Medicine. Currently, the following projects are supported by the SIFP:
