The Research Coordinator Development Course is conducted by the MUSC College of Nursing. This course is conducted in the following seven sessions: Biomedical and Behavioral Research Process, Ethics of Research and Drug and Device Development Organizing and Managing the Research Work Regulatory Agencies and the IRB and Investigative Drug Accountability Subject Recruitment, Eligibility and Retention and Working with the IRB Continuous Quality Improvement: Audits and Good Clinical Practice Guidelines Workshops: Informed Consent, Protocol Continuation Application, Protocol Amendments and Documenting Adverse Events Workshops: Source Documents, Case Report Forms and Adverse Event Tracking Forms
