We're selling honey to support the bees that create 1/3 of our food.

For every $15 purchase of Bee Cause Honey you buy, 100% of the proceeds will be donated to one of the school hive projects sponsored by The Bee Cause. You will be rewarded with a 12oz. jar of regionally-sourced, Savannah Bee Company Bee Cause Honey and the knowledge that you have helped support education and are re-building diminishing honeybee populations. Bees help make 1/3 of our food by transferring pollen and seeds from one flower to another, fertilizing the plant so it can grow food. Simply put: No bees, No food. But pesticides and changes to our environment are threatening the honeybees' existence. Nearly 1/3 of the colonies have disappeared. The number of hives is the lowest in 50 years.

The MUSC Urban Farm is proud to be working with The Bee Cause Project. Their mission is to educate young people about the importance of honeybees and their well being by the installation of 1000 beehives in area schools. The Urban Farm will be unveiling a new observation beehive donated by The Bee Cause Project in July to support our mission of building a healthier community by inspiring people with local, nutritious, and delicious food.

Cash or check only please, made payable to The Bee Cause Project.
