The MUSC Grounds Department is committed to maintaining a beautiful, safe campus for students, employees, patients, and visitors.
Our staff of 25 employees is responsible for all work related to landscaping and grounds maintenance on MUSC's 65 acre campus. This includes mowing, tree trimming and replacement, planting shrubs and flowers, litter control, pest and weed control, and landscape construction.

MUSC was declared a Tree Campus USA by the National Arbor Day Foundation on April 26th and two trees were planted in the horseshoe. Click here for Arboretum and information about our collection of trees and tree care.
The MUSC Urban Farm is a community garden on the MUSC grounds; the mission of this educational garden is to enrich the lives of the community by learning to eat for health.
