Medical District Making news and leading to more greenspace at MUSC
The MUSC Grounds Department manages 65 acres with a staff of 25 employees committed to maintaining a beautiful, safe campus for students, employees, patients, and visitors.
This includes mowing, tree trimming and replacement, planting shrubs and flowers, litter control, pest and weed control, and landscape construction.

MUSC was declared a Tree Campus USA by the National Arbor Day Foundation on April 26th and two trees were planted in the horseshoe. Visit the Arboretum Site for information about our collection of trees and tree care.
The MUSC Urban Farm is a community garden on the MUSC grounds; the mission of this educational garden is to enrich the lives of the community by learning to eat for health.
