Sustainability & Recyling - Reuse

Reuse has both financial and environmental benefrow of mugsits.:

Save $: Bring your favorite cup to work and use it instead of disposable cups. Pay just $.79 for any drink, soda or coffee

Save the environment: When you move your lab or office dont throw out all the old stuff: e-waste can be recycled and equipment that works can be re-used. Here are some tips for moving, click here for instructions.

Reusable Office Supply Exchange or R.O.S.E. program:
MUSC Sustainability Program offers special services to campus offices that are moving: besides providing extra bins for disposal of old files, all office supplies that are no longer needed are collected for the Reusable Office Supply Exchange (R.O.S.E.) program. The goal of R.O.S.E. is to Reduce waste, Reuse items that can be reused and Recycle the rest by matching supplies no longer needed with those who need them.

What:
Appropriate items for R.O.S.E. include (click here for a complete list) 

Pens, pencils, manila folders, hanging file folders, calculators, staplers, rubber stamps, staples, scissors, notebooks, notepads, binders, folders, envelopes, printing supplies such as laser toners and ink jet supplies, small desk top accessories, paperclips, rubber bands, etc.  All items should be in working order. This service works only when we receive donations and when you want supplies.  Bring supplies and we will shelve them for you. Wear your MUSC ID and help yourself to the items you need.  Use the logbook to record what you took.  It's that simple.

Send all reusable campus mail envelopes to Mail Services MSC 825, for Reuse
