Cash Management supports the strategic and financial goals of the University by providing technical and accounting services required in managing the University's cash funds, and providing accurate and timely cash and budgeting reports. The department advances use of best practices applicable to university cash management. Major responsibilities of the department include:
  • Manage University's cash accounts to insure adequate funds are available for University operations.
  • Prepare monthly cash reports for management's use in monitoring the University's cash position and budget position on cash driven cost centers.
  • Process cash accounting transactions accurately and timely.
  • Process payment of University liabilities.
