Special Shipments

WorldShip

If your department ships a large volume, you may want to consider using the WorldShip Software Program.

This program offers the same features found at CampusShip; however, you will find additional key benefits.  Your time spent
preparing shipping documents will be considerably reduced.  A good rule of thumb would be, if your department ships more than 20 packages a day, or 100 a week, you may want to consider using this program.  Detailed information may be found online at WorldShip.

Hazardous Shipments

Due to heightened security concerns, great scrutiny is being given to shipment content. Please contact the UPS Hazardous Materials Support Center at 1-800-554-9964 for detailed information.

In addition, all individuals who ship hazardous materials MUST be certified by MUSC Occupational Safety and Health (792-3604).

Dry Ice

Information concerning the use of coolants and refrigerants can be found by following the link Coolants & Refrigerants.  Due to the nature of the item being shipped, some of these shipments will fall under the Hazardous Shipping Material guidelines.  Please contact the UPS Hazardous Materials Support Center at 1-800-554-9964 for detailed information
