Effective June 29, patient parking lot G will close and construction of two new buildings, Drug Discovery and Biomedical Research, will begin on the site. Patients and visitors who have been parking in G lot will be directed to the university's Jonathan Lucas Street and Ashley-Rutledge patient parking garages. Patients of Hollings Cancer Center, Institute of Psychiatry, units in the Clinical Sciences Building and other locations near Jonathan Lucas Street: Park in the Jonathan Lucas Street garage (entrance at the intersection of President, Doughty and Jonathan Lucas Street). Patients going to Main Hospital, Children's Hospital, Storm Eye, Rutledge Tower and other locations near Ashley Avenue: Park in the Ashley-Rutledge parking garage (entrances on both Ashley and Rutledge Avenues). Student after-hours study parking will move from G lot to the President Street garage (PGII). This change in program location is being coordinated with SGA and the student activities office.
