The contract for the MUSC Biosafety Cabinet Service Program has been awarded to Environment of Care One (EOC1) of Bainbridge, GA. EOC1's NSF 49 accredited staff can perform the following services for biosafety cabinets, clean benches and cage changing stations.

  • Test and certify performance to criteria stipulated by NSF 49 standards and manufacturer specifications
  • Replace HEPA filters
  • Repair malfunctioning equipment
  • Relocate biosafety cabinets
  • Decontamination utilizing chlorine dioxide gas (service also available for cell culture incubators)
