OSHP provides expertise and resources for MUSC employees storing, handling, transporting, and disposing of nonhazardous and hazardous chemicals/materials. To ensure compliance with the MUSC Safety and Health Policy, and federal and state regulations chemical safety resources are provided below.

Hazardous Communication
OSHA Global Harmonizing System Transition - OSHP will assist the MUSC community to comply with changes being made to the federal Hazard Communication Standard (HCS) by the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labeling of Chemicals (GHS) throughout the 2013 year.
