Faculty Affairs Roundtables
The College of Medicine Faculty Affairs Team invites faculty to attend the next sessions in the series of Faculty Affairs Roundtables. These sessions will be presented by Marc Chimowitz and Tom Hulsey on the topic of "Mentoring and the Appointment, Promotion and Tenure Process" and will be offered twice - on November 4 at 4:00 p.m. in 601 Clinical Sciences Building and on November 21 at 12:00 p.m. in 429 Clinical Sciences Building. These sessions are intended to be highly participatory and foster discussion.

Dr. Nadine Kaslow, President-Elect of the American Psychological Association and Professor at Emory University, will be the speaker at this year's Dean's Diversity Colloquium. She will be the keynote address, "Understanding Privilege: Creating Individual and System-Wide Pathways to Authentic Relationships", on November 21 at 4:00 p.m. in the Drug Discovery Aduitorium, with a reception to follow. Dr. Kaslow will spend the day at MUSC and will engage in interactive sessions with faculty, staff, residents and students. A special session focusing on leadership will be held on November 21 at 2:00 p.m., and junior faculty members are encouraged to attend.
